Creamy Parmesan Oven-Baked Potatoes 🥔🧀
A rich, comforting side dish with tender potatoes baked in a creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce and a golden top.
Ingredients
4–5 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), thinly sliced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup milk
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or oil.
Slice potatoes thinly (about ⅛ inch thick) for even cooking.
In a bowl, mix the sauce: heavy cream, milk, garlic, melted butter, salt, pepper, paprika, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
Layer the potatoes in the baking dish, slightly overlapping.
Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the potatoes.
Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle the remaining Parmesan on top, and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let rest 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve.
